Authiq Research Agency — mentoring with confidence

Publication support

A good paper in the wrong journal is still a rejection.

Choosing where to submit, preparing properly, and responding well to reviewers is a distinct skill. We help you learn it.

Journal selection

The most common reason a sound paper gets desk-rejected is that it was sent somewhere it never fitted.

Scope fit

Whether your contribution matches what this journal actually publishes — not what its title suggests.

Realistic ambition

An honest read on where your paper stands. Aim high where it's justified; don't burn six months where it isn't.

Indexing & quartile

Scopus, SSCI, SCIE, ESCI and quartile ranking, matched to what your institution requires.

Timeline reality

Typical review times, so your expectations match your deadline.

Submission preparation

  1. Formatting to the journal's guidelines

Structure, references, figures, word limits. Editors reject over these before a reviewer sees the science.

  2. Cover letter

Stating your contribution and fit clearly — drafted with you, in your voice.

  3. Ethics and declarations

Ethics approval, conflicts of interest, data availability, author contributions. Getting these right matters.

  4. Your approval

You review the final manuscript and approve the submission as its author. Our system will not record a submission in your name until you have.

Revisions

A revise-and-resubmit is good news that often feels like bad news. Most authors under-read the comments and over-defend the paper.

Interpreting the comments

What the reviewer is actually asking — which is frequently not what they literally wrote.

Planning the response

Which points to accept, which to push back on, and how to disagree with a reviewer without losing the paper.

The response letter

Your mentor guides the structure and strategy. You write it and approve it — it goes back in your name, so it must be yours.

What we will never do

Guarantee acceptance

No honest agency can. Peer review is not for sale, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something that will damage your career.

Arrange favourable review

We have no relationships with editors or reviewers and would not use them if we did. Your paper succeeds on its merits.

Recommend predatory journals

We will steer you away from journals that will take your money and damage your record — even when they'd make your deadline easier.

Submit without you

Nothing goes to a journal in your name unless you have personally approved it.

Where are you in the process?
